A face covering or mask must be worn at all times while in the shop, including throughout the entirety of your haircut, unless medically unable to do so.
CHECK-IN + WAITING
To limit the number of people in HANDSOME at any one time, please arrive at your scheduled appointment alone, check-in, and then wait outside. We will let you know once your barber is ready. If someone else is checking in when you arrive, please wait outside until they have exited.
As required by the State of New York, we are only offering haircuts at this time. All other services are suspended until further notice, including shampoos. Please arrive with your hair clean and ready to cut. Haircut appointment times have been increased to 45 minutes to allow for social distancing and sanitation procedures.
PREPAYMENT + CANCELLATION POLICY
To eliminate check-out HANDSOME requests all appointments are prepaid in full at the time of scheduling. We require any changes to scheduled appointments, including cancellations, be made no later than 24 hours prior. Appointments that are missed, canceled, or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded.
We ask that anyone unwell, experiencing symptoms of illness, or who has had known contact with a person with COVID-19, to please cancel their appointment and reschedule after being confirmed well for 14 days.
Any contact information provided by clients of HANDSOME will be made available for COVID-19 contact tracing if necessary.
By booking your appointment you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where other people are present. In arriving for your appointment you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold HANDSOME (Fire Island Pines Hotel llc) or any of their employees liable for any illness or injury.
